Zoollywood is the second successfully funded game on Kickstarter since I joined the Bluepiper Studio game design team. It's a 2 to 4-player abstract strategy game with a unique theme where penguin actors and actresses compete in film auditions. What sets it apart from other games is our attention to the design of the chess pieces. Drawing from our expertise in toy design, we've crafted pieces that not only serve their function but also have a strong aesthetic appeal.
In this project, I take on the role of the main artist and designer within the team, collaborating closely with the game designer and 3D modeller. I am responsible for all visual aspects of the project, including character and miniature design, the design of the Kickstarter campaign page, assets for marketing videos, and card and package design. Additionally, I also collaborated with two other illustrators who contributed to the map and box cover illustrations.
